Ábel Markó won CDP Scholarship

PhD student Ábel Markó, member of the Hydrogeology Chair, won a scholarship for the realization of his doctoral research in the Cooperative Doctoral Programme announced by the National Research, Development and Innovation Office in the summer of 2021.

The CDP offers funding to those who, in addition to their doctoral studies, carry out research outside higher education that promotes the practical application of their scientific results.

Ábel’s application entitled “Sustainable green energy from hazardous sources – problem-preventive procedure for geothermal use of abandoned hydrocarbon wells” was supported. The supervisor is Dr. Judit Mádl-Szőnyi, the involved partner is MOL Group, company expert Marianna Tóth.
