In connection with the 195th General Assembly of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, on May 19, 2022, a scientific session was held in the Great Hall of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences on the occasion of the International Year of Caves and Karst.
On behalf of the Chair, two of our colleagues held presentations at the event. In the morning session, Dr. Judit Mádl-Szőnyi gave a presentation on “Basin-scale flow systems in domestic karst areas – new interpretation”. In the afternoon session, Dr. Anita Erőss introduced her work with the title of “Hydrogeological and speleological research in the Villány Mountains” to the audience.
