The management and senate of ELTE established the University Excellence Fund (EKA), within the framework of which scientific publications of outstanding prestige are awarded as well. Two members of the József and Erzsébet Tóth Endowed Hydrogeology Chair won the recognition: in the 1st round, Márk Szijártó‘s article entitled “Numerical analysis of the potential for mixed thermal convection in the Buda Thermal Karst, Hungary”, and in the 2nd round, Ádám Tóth’s article entitled “Springs regarded as hydraulic features and interpreted in the context of basin-scale groundwater flow“ was recognized.
