After the presentation, the participants, students, ELTE and external colleagues asked their questions. A lively exchange of ideas took place between the representatives of the domestic companies and the professor regarding the current situation of Hungarian utilization and the further possibilities and tasks inherent in it.

It was discussed what role geothermal heat pumps can play in meeting heating needs in the current gas crisis, how this can be facilitated and why the interest of industrial users in the area has increased in recent weeks.

At the end of the presentation, the professor expressed his joy that as an honorary doctorate of ELTE, he could once again do something to increase the knowledge of university professionals and students. In return, Judit Mádl-Szőnyi thanked him for his presentation and expressed her hope to see the professor again soon. She is also optimistic about the wider spread of domestic geothermal heat pumping.
