🎉Let’s celebrate Professor József Tóth!🎉
Today we celebrate the 9️⃣0️⃣th birthday of Dr. Joe Tóth, the founder and namesake of the József and Erzsébet Tóth Endowed Hydrogeology Chair at Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, Hungary.
Some of the several achievements associated with his name are:💧mathematical foundation of groundwater’s basin hydraulics analysis;💧description of the systematic movement of groundwater flow;💧recognition of the role of groundwater flow systems as subsurface geologic agent;💧and, consequently, the formulation of the basic concept of modern hydrogeology.
