The ELTE Innovation Day was held on 29 November 2023 at the Campus of ELTE TTK. The goal of ELTE’s innovation event, which has been going on for many years, is to encourage the utilization of knowledge generated at the university and basic research, and to strengthen the relationship between the university and the corporate sphere. The program of the whole day’s event included varied and multifaceted presentations. The focus of the event was university innovations related to health. In addition to numerous health industry and medical researches, sustainable development and the environment protection were also discussed. The József and Erzsébet Tóth Endowed Hydrogeological Chair Foundation’s research group’s own development, the NB-MAR, the hydrogeological innovation, belongs the latter category, which was introduced to the audience by our Professor Judit Mádl-Szőnyi. After that, closely related to this topic, the representative of Bátya village reported on the practical experiences of nature-based water replacements.
